Pancakes, but mini! These tiny pancakes are the cutest quarantine breakfast you’ll ever eat!
I love all mini things, especially mini food. When I saw a huge amount of pancake cereal on social media, I knew I had to make some! And trust me, they taste even better then they look!
These mini pancakes breakfast cereal are tiny-sized, fluffy, delicious, and fun to make. Cereal pancakes are two of all time favourite breakfast items. Cereal and pancakes! What’s not to love with this new food trend?
You can serve them in a bowl with some butter and maple syrup or just like cereal with milk or berries, chocolate chips! Anything you desire!
- 170 g all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 190 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- ⅛ tsp salt
- butter or oil to fry
- In a blender, add milk, vanilla extract, egg, salt, baking powder, sugar, flour and blend until combined. Place a non-stick frying pan on medium heat, you can either grease with butter, oil and heat until hot. Squeeze out the batter unto the hot pan, (you can use a piping bag or just a spoon) until fully covered, making sure they are not touching one another.
- Cook the tiny pancakes until they start to bubble and you can lift the edges or after about 30 seconds and flip using a fork or a spatula. The mini pancakes should be golden brown before you flip, continue to cook the flipped side for another 30 seconds. Transfer to a bowl.
- Repeat the process until you have used all the batter. Serve with butter, maple syrup, or berries and enjoy your tiny cereal pancakes.
